Yes — creating a profile and browsing matches is completely free. Premium plans unlock unlimited messaging, advanced filters and more.
Who is JSoulMate for?
JSoulMate is for Jewish singles of all backgrounds and observance levels — from secular to Orthodox, Ashkenazic, Sephardic and Mizrahi.
How do I get started?
Create a free account, complete your profile with a photo and description, take the compatibility quiz, and start browsing your matches.
How does the matching algorithm work?
We match based on religious background, Shabbat observance, location, age, and your compatibility quiz answers. The more complete your profile, the better your matches.
How many matches will I see?
Free members see up to 5 matches per day. Flame members see unlimited matches. Soulmate members also receive personally curated matches from a human shadchan.
Can I see who liked me?
Yes — Flame and Soulmate members can see everyone who liked their profile. Free members see a blurred preview.
Can I message anyone?
Free members can send up to 3 messages per day. Flame and Soulmate members have unlimited messaging. Use our icebreaker questions to start conversations easily.
What is Shabbat-Safe messaging?
On Friday evenings and Saturdays, messages are queued and delivered after Havdalah, respecting Shabbat observance.
How do you verify profiles?
All profiles are manually reviewed before activation. We check for fake photos, suspicious information and inconsistencies. Members can also request a verified badge.
How do I report someone?
Tap the three-dot menu on any profile and select Report. Our safety team reviews all reports within 24 hours.
Is my information private?
Your full name, phone and address are never shared without your permission. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What is the difference between Flame and Soulmate?
Flame gives you unlimited matches, messaging, and AI compatibility reports. Soulmate adds a dedicated human shadchan, weekly coaching and exclusive events.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel anytime from your Settings page. No long-term contracts. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — if you have not received any matches within 30 days of upgrading, contact support@jsoulmate.com for a full refund.
